Joanna Verran, Manchester Metropolitan University

Description:

Joanna will talk about her research on biofilms and the attachment of micro-organisms to surfaces. Her work raises issues about the effectiveness of anti-microbial surfaces. Joanna has interests in cross-disciplinary work between microbiology and art

Description:

LGC runs a commercial forensic lab in the Runcorn area.  They hold an open evening each year and have agreed to us bringing a party to the event.  There will be short talks, demonstrations and standing displays.

We will look into taking a coach.
